Pickups from Indy Card Exchange

When I went to Indianapolis, there was no way that I wouldn’t stop in to the best card shop I’ve ever been in.  It was great to see Andy and Jake!  Like most collectors, I couldn’t walk out empty handed.

The Y.A. Tittle and Archie Manning cards were picked up to send for TTM autographs.  Both have already been send and I’ve even already received the Manning back. I thought the sticker was cool since it has the team name as the old “Black Hawks.” It’ll just go into my Hawks collection.

I know that Joe DeLamielleure is a good signer.  I will get them out sometime in the future, with the required donation enclosed.

All three of these players are deceased, but I pick up cheap cards of them when I can.  I love that after all his time in the league, they still spelled Chuck Bednarik’s name incorrectly.

I have a couple of wax boxes of 1986 Topps in my closet.  EVENTUALLY I will get to opening them and putting the set together.  The set was a gift from my uncle for Christmas 1986 and they were the first cards I ever had.  Sadly, they were lost in a house fire.
