TTM Success #29 – I Learned Something New

While I’m not a fan of getting most modern cards signed (because of the glossy surfaces causing smearing), I did learn something new via this TTM success.  Topps Chrome cards appear pretty good for signatures, or at least this one turned out.

A few months ago I was at a card show and Stephan brought this over and gave to me, because he knows how much I like the All-American set.  One day I was browsing the Sports Card Forum recent successes and Dick Anderson’s name showed up.  I recalled having this card, so I decided to send it.  This was a rare case when I sent just one card, but I wanted to go ahead and get it in the mail instead of waiting weeks to pick up another card of him.

He personalized it on his own, but I have no intention to sell and that is absolutely fine with me.  If you’re curious, this one came back in just 12 days.
