I’m guilty of sometimes having tunnel vision. In this case, I was just looking for a Dan Gurney certified autograph. He signed for a Goodwin Champions set, so when one came along at a price I was good with, I intended to jump on it.
It wasn’t until after the auction ended that I realized there was a second piece. I hadn’t even paid enough attention to the item description because I was so focused on getting the autograph.
The way I look at it, the Magician card is a freebie. I was already willing to pay the price for the autograph alone. Sometimes you just feel like you win.
We are always looking for more contributors. If you’re interested in writing, please let us know.

so it’s a card within a card? Either way, 2 cards for the price of 1 is always great!
Congrats! There aren’t many cards of him out there. I didn’t realize he was even in that set!
