It’s not often as a collector that you can “make” steady money by opening a product. However, I was able to do that last year with the Topps Chrome WWE product.
As I always do, I took a look at the cards when I stopped at Walmart on the way home today. There wasn’t any hockey (shocker, I’m in Texas), but I did see the WWE Chrome that came out last week. There were blaster boxes, and then there were two hanger boxes. The hangers include a Sting insert card, three refractors and four atomic refractors (which are retail only) in each 18 card box/pack.
After doing so well last year, I decided it was worth a shot to pick them up and give a whirl. After opening everything, I was happy with how they turned out. I didn’t hit anything huge, but again, it could have been a lot worse.

Sting Championship Spotlight:
Among my base cards was a Bray Wyatt that I will keep for myself. Also, there was a John Cena, Sting and two NXT cards (Colin Cassady and Hideo Itami).
I was pleasantly surprised to see one of these in each box:
I don’t recall any time recently that coupons have been inserted into product. To be honest, I don’t know if the “Value Box” are the hanger boxes or the blasters. Either way, it’s a nice touch and something that SHOULD encourage collectors to go back for seconds.
Thanks for taking a couple of minutes to take a look. If you like what we’re doing, please follow us on Facebook and Twitter and also look through some other pieces on the site. I’m always looking for more folks that would like to contribute, so let me know if you are!
