I’ve pretty much gotten out of modern cards and I’m very happy about that. However, sometimes that urge to open packs gets very strong. That, combined with my birthday being Friday, led me to pick up a blaster when I was at Walmart today. It appears that most people like seeing the results from breaks, so I thought I’d share.
I will start by saying that I am very happy with what I got. There was no Connor McJesus in there, but I’m not complaining. I was truly hoping to get an Artemi Panarin Young Guns but that didn’t happen. You can’t win them all! I “beat” some of the odds.
Every pack until the last two that I opened contained an insert of Young Guns. Below is the order that they were opened.

When I opened pack one and it was an Edmonton Young Guns that wasn’t McJesus, I knew my odds weren’t good. You’ll have that.

I definitely didn’t anticipate getting a Canvas Young Guns. However, I’ve had good luck in the past with getting these in the tins. So at the same time, I’m not surprised.

The jersey cards odds are one per two boxes, so I beat the odds!

This is definitely one of the better Young Guns that you can hit. This (and most of the cards from this) will be listed for sale on my Sports Card Direct page soon. Most of my items on there are at or below eBay prices. A lot of other sellers do that as well, so you should check the site out in general.

The last pack I opened was the pack with the three Parkhurst rookies. I finally got a card of the Breadman, so I finished on a very high note! Oh yeah, that Eichel guy is supposed to be pretty good, isn’t he?
