While most of us realize that the cards that we put so much time and money into are just cardboard, that isn’t always the truth. There are some cards that have a much more tangible value. In the past, Panini released the “Engravatures” set that included silver.
Upper Deck is now the lone company producing hockey and Thursday, there will be a “draft” for the 2014-15 Black Diamond Quad Rookie Gems. Each card contains four genuine one carat diamonds.
Some of the names from this season’s rookie class that are available are Jonathan Drouin, Aaron Ekblad, Johnny Gaudreau and Teuvo Teravainen.
