Layover Lujack

Immediately upon seeing Brian’s first “Old School Ink” piece, I knew I had to get a 1955 All-American card signed.  It IS my favorite set of all time.  With players like Red Grange and Jim Thorpe in the set, I wasn’t even aware that any of the subjects were still alive.

I immediately checked some sites and the lowest price card I could find was on eBay.  It’s obviously a well-loved card, but I’m okay with that.  In a lot of ways, I like getting these kind of cards signed.  Many will shun them because of condition but being autographed gives it a new life, in my opinion.

The card just arrived last night and will be out in the mail again tomorrow.  Based on recent trends, I will probably have this back in a couple of weeks!
