If you collect sports cards, it’s possible that you’re a sports fan.
As a sports fan, you probably own more than just cards. I own probably ten Blackhawks tees and certainly more hats than that. My number of WVU tees, polos and hoodies (combined) reached triple digits years ago.
I have always loved the Hawks’ old “Black Hawks” logo. When I saw that Eric, a friend of the blog, had a watch available, I had to pick it up. It won’t be worn immediately. I need to get a new wristband put on it and a new battery, and that costs money. Nonetheless, I picked it up and can’t wait to get it working! It’s definitely a different anticipation when you know something that isn’t a card is on the way.
Also in the box was the Tuevo Teravainen Young Guns that I’ve wanted for months. Glad that I have been able to put this “want” to rest. However, I will trade for more of them, if the opportunity presents itself.

A few days ago I posted the results of my two box break of O-Pee-Chee Premium hockey. I was disappointed to not get a Teuvo or John Klingberg at all, but Eric came through and I have now added these to my PC (and the Sports Card Forum gallery).

I would probably write more on most days, but I’m still suffering hangover from last night’s game. It’s always worth it when the Blackhawks win a playoff game, though. Let’s just make it easier tomorrow night, fellas!
Enjoy your evening and some playoff hockey, #BecauseItsTheCup!
