Seriously. This guy is a champion and many of you don’t even know it. Scott Dixon is the current and four-time IndyCar Champion. Oh yeah, not to mention the 2008 Champion of the Indianapolis 500. You might have heard of that race. He’s the active leader in career American Open-Wheel racing wins with 37 and is fifth all-time. The four ahead of him have the last names Unser, Andretti and Foyt.
The card is from the last mainstream IndyCar set, produced by Rittenhouse in 2007. Yes, it has been a decade since there’s been a set. Once upon a time I had all of the autographs except for one high priced one (Danica Patrick). It appears that at some time I sold them off and I’m working to reacquire them. Needless to say, I was happy to pick this card up for $3.99 including shipping.
