One Card, An Addition to Three Sets

As the focus of my collecting has changed, I’ve started new projects.  Last weekend I started two new ones, allowing this one card to go into three different sets.

It had been awhile since I’d picked up and 1955 Topps All-American cards.  I hadn’t abandoned my set, but had focused on other projects.

Last weekend I was thinking about PSA Registry (more to come on why soon) and as I was researching, I went ahead and signed up with the site, entered the four cards from the set that I have and started a set registry.  There are two registries for the set, the base set and the master set.  The master set is just two more cards than the base.

I believe that while working on the project will be slow, it will be enjoyable.  I am an analytical and competitive person.  As I add cards my rank will go up.  I won’t ever end up toward the top, but that’s okay.  After this addition, I have the 101st ranked base set and the 43rd ranked master set.

The card is a low grade, but all the ones that I have are.  I filtered on eBay by lowest price and picked this one up for $6 and free shipping.  I wasn’t going to pass that up.  It’s another one checked off the list.

Current Progress:
1955 All-American: 64/100
1955 All-American Base PSA Registry: 5/100
1955 All-American Master PSA Registry: 5/102
