It appears to me that the hobby gods want me to collect Bulldog Turner. Without truly trying, I have collected 40% of his cards issued during his career. I’m not sure it’s an accomplishment (he only has ten cards from his playing years), but I’ve come into them. I could certainly “luck” into a lot of players that weren’t Hall-of-Famers.
I already have one of these cards but for the price and how I’ve come into his cards, it was almost an automatic purchase. It’s in sold shape as well and I have no regrets.
This is a prime example of collecting what you love and what is fun. You can never go wrong if you do that. It’s just a hobby!
