Happy 90th birthday to Johnny Lujack! Lujack was one in a long line of western Pennsylvania quarterbacks to be successful at the highest levels of football. At Notre Dame, he won the 1947 Heisman Trophy.
I considered making his 1955 All-American card the card of the day, since it pictures his with Notre Dame. However, I love a lot of the old NFL logos and the one on this card is why I selected it.
