Vintage Football Card of the Day -1952 Bowman Small #14 Paul Brown

Today’s Vintage Football Card of the Day was chosen because of tonight’s Monday Night Football match up.  It’s also a card out of my personal collection.

Paul Brown won seven league championships as head coach of the Cleveland franchise (that was later named after him).  Four titles were in the AAFC and the other three were NFL titles.  Many fans want to count “Super Bowl” titles for their teams, but there was football before the Super Bowl.  Brown was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1967.

I’m not as into the NFL as I once was, but I can definitely say “Go Browns!”  Funny how Baltimore still resents the Colts, but loves the Ravens franchise that did the same thing to Cleveland.
