In the second Vintage Card of the Day post ever, I used the 1952 Bowman Large version of this same card. Joe Stydahar played at my alma mater (West Virginia University) and the Large version is a short print.
I’ve made today’s card the small version because I was able to pick this card up today. It’s the one in the scan. Matt knew that I was looking for one and when he came across it, held it for me. There was a local card show today and he had it for me. I was able to pick up a handful of other cards from him, but I will have a later post on that.
