Recently, the Duke Blue Devils football program has seen some of it’s best success ever. The ten-win season in 2014 was the first season of double digit wins for the Blue Devils. They play today in their fourth straight bowl game for the first time ever. Yes, almost everyone makes a bowl these days. For a program that recently was one of the laughingstocks of college football, this is a big deal.
Without the greatest football history, who is Duke’s best football player ever? According to this NFL.com post, it’s Sonny Jurgensen. That is why this card is the vintage card of the day. The other options didn’t make the choice too difficult, however.
