Let’s Help a Fellow Collector In Need (Updated)

I’m reaching out to all of our readers and fellow collectors out there to ask for some help. A close friend of mine lost everything last night in a house fire. Luckily, no one was injured and no one was home when it occurred.

However, he, along with his wife and daughter, lost everything and will essentially be starting over.

He was a huge sports fan and an avid collector and that’s all gone now. I can only imagine how I’d feel if this happened to me. I’m sure insurance will cover many of the costs they will incur in the upcoming days and weeks but I’m sure replacing his collection isn’t his main priority right now.

So, I’m asking for some assistance to see if we can get his collection started again by donating some of your unwanted cards. I will definitely be giving him some cards of his favorite teams and I’m hoping some of our readers out there can help me on this project.  Even if you send one card in a plain white envelope. Anything helps!

If anyone out there is willing to help, I’ll put the details and where you cans end your donation at the bottom of this post.  Thank you ahead of time for your kindness! I’m sure this will go a long way in helping someone start from scratch.

There will also be a GoFundMe page set up for them. I’ll post that link as soon as it’s available.

If you gave any questions, please email me at jasondeanmartin@gmail.com.
