In my last pickup from this show post, I explained just finding out about a major leaguer from the 1950s that played at my alma mater. I hoped to find more than one card at Roger’s table, but the baseball card gods stymied me.
However, I headed over to Leon’s table and was lucky enough to find two more copies and picked them up. For those that love vintage cards, Leon is the owner of the net54baseball.com forum, which is primarily a forum for vintage cards.
I will probably continue to pick up any copies of this that I can get for a buck or two going forward. It’s vintage. He played at WVU. I don’t believe it will be possible to have too many copies of this. Hopefully I can secure a copy of his 1952 Topps at some point…
