I need to make a decision on what to do with the Andrew Shaw PC. He’s going to be a free agent and I have little hope that he will be on the Blackhawks next season. There’s almost no way to make it happen.
Though my card collection has shifted significantly to vintage, I still made a pickup recently.
This card is in Series 2 and shortly after the release, I found a copy for sale at a good price. The picture is so much better than his first “Day With The Cup” card.
While I’ve not decided what to do, it’s likely that I will keep anything Stanley Cup related, at the very least. I’m still a fan and will continue as a fan wherever he goes (within reason). The fact that I may get rid of cards is a statement on where the hobby is currently, not my fanhood.
