Former NFL player and football broadcaster Lee Grosscup turns 79 years young today. He played professional football from 1959-66 before a broadcasting career that included 20 seasons as a college football analyst for ABC.
Grosscup has just one football card in the Sports Card Forum database. Despite the team on the card, he never played for the Jets. After two years with the Giants, he played with the New York Titans in 1962. The Titans became the Jets for the 1963 season, but Grosscup wasn’t on the team.
